long since anyone can remember, women in particular are incomparable and timeless beauty. Aristocratic women tied to the 19th Century from the air with corsets. Chinese girls crippled their feet to conform to a beauty ideal. Today, almost every young girl wants to be a famous model like Heidi Klum. Many women take health risks tacitly accepted in order to approach cosmetic surgery with the aid of their ideal proportions. In the fairy tale Snow White
by the Brothers Grimm did the evil stepmother be of Snow White the fairest of them all. Each day the vain Queen was a magic mirror and asked him "Mirror, mirror on the Wand.Wer is the fairest of them all?" . The mirror answered: . "Queen, you're the fairest of them all" grew But when Snow White to a young woman, she was more beautiful and was ultimately more beautiful than the queen itself as it one morning again asked the magic mirror replied: "Queen, thou art of beauty here. But Snow White is a thousand times more fair. "

Genitals Versus Hatchet

" Ego-Mirror: Realisation

The "Ego-Mirror " is activated by a tilt sensor and light up like magic light. If the mirror with the command "Ego Mirror addressed, the person's name via Bluetooth
is sent to google.de. A Processing Application [1] reads the number from the Google hits and controls the voice output to the mirror. About speaker is played with a voice of Snow White fairy tale text.

Where Do You Migrate Pokemon In Soul Silver

"Ego-Mirror: Prototype

states
first Configuration
The Ego-Mirror is on the computer by entering the name personalized.
second Synchronization
After the personalization of the ego-self Mirror sends the name of the application processing and outputs the current Googlehit number.

functioning
two modes of operation are possible: first
Via Wired via ARDUINO
The mirror is contacted by a microphone and movement (proximity sensor) enabled. The backlight turns on. A mini- ARDUINO then starts the Processing applet that was previously configured on the user. Through the headphone output of the stored text using Google Mac's internal voice is output.

second Wirelessly via Bluetooth
The mirror is the command "Ego-Mirror" by Mac-internal speech recognition activated. The backlight turns on. Per the Apple Script Processing applet that was previously configured on the user is playing. Bluetooth is issued the saved text via Google Mac's internal speech.

Material:
- white plastic (acrylic glass, polystyrene, etc.)
- one side mirrored spy film
- white background lighting (LEDs)

Building:
The mirror consists of three layers:
1. Infatuation with a hole for the second mini microphone
Spy foil on cardboard with punched Google Signet
third Reinforced back with technology: to identify speakers, white LEDs, Mini-Arduino, proximity sensor, battery

paper prototype
order size and shape of the ego-Mirrors, I've crafted a prototype made of paper. I have a small lapel and an old Walkman headphones used. A well-worked and output via speech recognition / speech output.

Now I have a Bluetooth headset (Plantronics Explorer) tried . The voice acting was lousy, tinny and quiet. The voice recognition does not work.

" Ego-Mirror ": Light Test

light test with a special acrylic EndLighten , a light-scattering, transparent Plexiglas ® with special light-conducting properties. Illumination with a few light sources (halogen spot here) on the edges is enough to illuminate the entire surface evenly. (Available at Others Otto Wolff Kunststoffe) EndLighten is an extruded acrylic (XT instead GS) and can therefore more difficult to process further, including milling and drilling.

Mens Waxing Pittsburgh Pa

"Ego-Mirror": building

The ego-mirror consists of several layers:
  1. back with technology
  2. Lightbody
  3. framework
  4. "Google G"
  5. cover
The frame is made of opaque white acrylic GS. And back cover are from HESA, a precision acrylic glass, cut out.

The back holes are drilled for the LEDs.

A test with three NiMH battery a 1.2 volt (power 1.100mA) and 40 ohm resistors mounted with the LEDs (20mA) first not to light up. I wanted to make the LEDs at only 10mA longer shine.

Finally, I've cut out the "Google-G" the spy film tension. The film is very sensitive to dust.

Pokemon Emerald Gpsphone Masterball Cheats

"data vacuum"

Background
Broadband Internet flat rates make it possible: We are always online and constantly suck data from the World Wide Web. We invite movies, music, photos and programs of nearly unlimited size to our computers. Whenever several gigabytes to be back, we feel a great sense of happiness. If the Internet connection slow or even interrupted the stream of data, we are angry and frustrated. We act like little babies that always suck at the breast or a pacifier need to do to not cry.

idea
The "data vacuum" is a dummy with a USB interface, designed to our early childhood thirst for more data milk to breastfeed. Only if it is drawn to the USB-sucking, files can be downloaded from the Internet.

realization

I consciously refrain from expanding the data vacuum through interaction, because in my opinion, the symbolism is clear. It would be conceivable to provide the nipple with an infrared mouse and trigger a mouse down command, a function that rewards the traveler data, for example, with an "oral" down loaded song.

implementation
to a conventional nipple to connect a USB cable. In two ways
functionality could be achieved: first
In the teat a computer mouse is installed. Whenever the mouse button is pressed with the tongue, data can be downloaded. My fellow student Sandra Dick has developed a mouse that can be operated with the tongue: Brace Mouse
second Over a microvalve according to will Saugintensität a liquid given in the mouth. The more Fluid in motion, the more data can be downloaded from the WWW.

How To Restore Shine To Helmet

"laptop-Sign"

background
problems keep us from work. A colleague stormed into the office and will only provide "short" a question. Another telling detail than we like it, from his weekend getaway. The human factor, while still the number one distraction, but the variety of communication channels makes our work even more vulnerable. Our phone rings while we talk with a customer. An e-mail with the "high" priority lands in our inbox, even though we the 20 other mail have not even read. Whenever information ends up on our virtual desktop, we feel obliged to be concerned about us, whether we're doing something else important.

idea
time management experts recommend "Silent Hours" to avoid failure and concentrate on working on a task. [1] In the office we just make the door to our mobile office - the laptop - but it is always welcome. If we are to be undisturbed in a hotel room like, we hang the sign "Do not disturb!" to the doorknob. This door tag I transfer to the digital world. The laptop
sign off with a handle all communication channels. Depends the words "Do not Disturb" on the outside of the laptop, we can not be reached, either by e-mail, phone or chat. Do we want to again communicate with other people, we want to consciously back to reception, where we sign the laptop to the other side with the inscription "Please Come in!" Turn . The laptop trailer signals both in the real environment and in the virtual environment either call early stem or a need for rest.

realization
The "laptop-Sign" is placed over the built-in laptop camera. CamCapture [2] takes at short intervals on a picture with the built-in laptop camera. ImageMagick [3] reduces the image to a size of 1x1 pixels and defines the color values. The page "Do Not Disturb!" covers the camera, thus creating a completely black image. Using a system application, a network environment is selected in which all communication channels are turned off.
The programming took kindly Jakob Lehr.

Free Xbox Live Gold Numbers

"laptop-Sign"

functioning
sketch with a MacBook and a built-in iSight camera

If the hidden camera, Photo Booth shows a black screen. If the camera lens open an image aufenommen.

prototype

First of all I have some forms of paper cut, the typical trailer door in hotels are - with a round hole, square hole with rounded corners.

This is how the two-sided laptop followers ultimately look like.

I then tried to bend plastics of different thicknesses. Polystyrene with 2 mm thickness was easy to bend with a hair dryer. However, the material was too strong to ensure a tight radius. Polystyrene with a thickness of 0.75 mm was better suited to try out. Polystyrene may be a cheaper plastic and is therefore often used in Moellbau. However, it breaks down quickly and turns easily. I opted for a higher-quality plastic - HESA (available for example at modulor ).

Three prototypes side by side: left: paper double glue, middle: polystyrene 0.75 mm, right: HESA, have 1mm

I in my drawer found two old signs, the written contract it very much please. "Investment" is from Formalon, a multi-layer PVC material, the writing is from the upper white material cut out, so that the lower black material comes to light. "Fan" is engraved and filled with black paint. Likewise, I am the inscriptions "Do Not Disturb!" and "Please Come In!" can be manufactured.

The pre-printed and cut out Laptop fan, I bent in the plastics workshop at the University of the Arts together with the tutor. The opening was then milled.
